This pattern is to make a little baby doll that is 12" tall with a sweet simple body and all embroidered details. The first time we saw our first baby ultrasound, our son was the size of a butterbean with little nubbin arms and legs. My husband saw this doll and said "It's Butterbean!" and I think the name is perfect. Butterbean is an easy pattern, and the step-by-step photos make it easy for sewers who are still learning.
